Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar in a recent release announced the appointment of Sumit Talwar as its new Executive Chef and Bharat Gaurav as its new HR Manager.

Talwar is a seasoned hospitality professional armed with 17 years of extensive experience having worked with countless luxury brands including Radisson Gwalior, Oberoi Amarvillas, ITC Fortune Lavasa, Radisson & Park Inn in Lalit Jaipur.

Talwar is well-known for his innovative ideas and approach that have helped break reputation barriers and successfully elevated the hotel’s culinary journey to a new level.

He arrived at Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar with an aim to maintain the hotel’s existing strong position and raise the bar even higher.

Gaurav is an HR professional with over eight and a half years of experience working with brands including Radisson Gujarat, The Westin Gurgaon New Delhi and Le Meridien Gurgaon on this list. As a human resource specialist his main ideal is to put people first while satisfying them with service.

He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in terms of compliance, collaborative engagement, management skills and a passion for driving Marriott core values ​​while implementing a Take Care culture in the organization.
