Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence has deleted all pictures and comments about Spurs on his Instagram page.

Spence completed a £20 million move to north London from Middlesbrough in the summer (The Guardian).

The 22-year-old enjoyed a spell in the Championship last season while on loan at Nottingham Forest.

His impressive displays earned him a move to Spurs but he has found it difficult to follow under Antonio Conte.

Spence has only made three substitute appearances in the Premier League, all coming in the final moments of games.

The Englishman played 25 minutes against his old side Forest in the Carabao Cup, but was substituted days later against Leeds. Now, the wing-back has deleted all comments about his club on his Instagram page.

Spence previously mentioned Spurs in his bio on the social media platform and posted a picture of himself working out for Conte’s men.

But it seems he has deleted everything related to Tottenham from his page.

The youngster has posted a post on his Instagram page, featuring a selection of pictures from his England U21 appearance in September.

The Athletic recently reported that Spence is not unhappy about his situation at Tottenham and knows he has the work to do to reach the level required under Conte.

It’s no big deal that he has removed all information about the club from his Instagram page, as players usually do before moving on.

But again, nothing more than the fact that there are still pictures of Spence in a Spurs shirt on his Twitter account.

The Times reported earlier this month that Spence could decide to cash in during the January transfer window.

After a disappointing start to the season for the youngster, it could be the best way for both teams.

Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty have failed to impress from the right-back, but Spence has not had the chance to impress Conte yet.

If he goes on loan to a Premier League club to gain some serious experience in the division, he could return to Spurs in the summer and push for a place in Conte’s side.
