Jessica Simpson is going strong after five years of silence.
The singer and actress shared a video of herself singing along to her song “Party of One” on Instagram. She also included a lengthy caption in a recent post, apparently clapping back at social media users who questioned her health after she appeared in a Pottery Barn ad earlier in the day.
The ad features Simpson and her three-year-old daughter, Birdie, promoting Pottery Barn Kids home decor. After she shared and tweeted the post on Instagram, people wondered if Simpson was okay in the comments section of the post, saying that her speech was slow and that her weight didn’t look healthy. .
“I need to be in my studio today because that’s where I start and heal,” Simpson wrote in his latest post. “Since I’ve learned to stop the negative noise … people’s comments and judgments are always hurtful by their constant noise ‘you’re not good enough.’
Simpson is no stranger to public criticism, especially for her appearance. “I’ve been rejected, it hurts, but I’ve worked hard and I’m proud,” he said in an interview with Add in October 2022. In the same interview, he said that he is working with a nutritionist from his third family in 2019.
Simpson has also been open about working on her fitness recently. She was also proud in a bikini to celebrate herself earlier this year. “I never thought this would be possible or happen, but I finally got to wear a BIKINI!!!!!!” he wrote in an Instagram post in April 2022.
In his latest post, he also talks about his past issues with alcoholism, which he shared in recent years with his 2020 memoir, Open Book.
“The most important thing I’ve learned in the last 5 years is that without alcohol as an escape guard, I can and will still ride,” he wrote. “I’m strong in everything I care about. I’m there. I’m very excited. I’m determined. I’m honest. I care about other people.”
Spending time in his studio seems to help the musician focus more. “After explaining myself this time with my voice and the words from my heart, I feel sorry for the bad idea that some people can have the power to just blow on social media social media or in the media at large,” the 42-year-old added, adding that there are days when everyone wants to look, feel or feel better.
“I woke up at the same time anxious and unnerved but also angry and restrained – like some of you,” he continued. “I know what works for me is to just let go and sing while looking straight into the mirror, straight into my eyes to really see and understand myself. I can connecting with my heart. home.”
He ends his caption with some words of advice for his students. “Live in your dreams and walk in them,” Simpson said. “Don’t give up on yourself because someone else did. Be true to YOU. It’s worked for me in this chaotic world right now. Nothing’s gonna take away my joy. It’s coming but I’m on my own. So should you.”
While she didn’t exactly name her motivation for sharing her Instagram video with the new caption, it’s clear she’s not letting anyone get her good looks down.
