Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has clashed with Jamie Carragher, who continues his battle with the Liverpool star.
Spurs suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest in the League Cup on Wednesday, November 9, with Renan Lodi and Jesse Lingard scoring for the hosts.
However, Forest were reduced to 10 men when Belgian midfielder Orel Mangala was sent off for a challenge on Richarlison.
The Brazil international, who recently returned from injury, was lucky not to catch another before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

After the game, he posted his Instagram story (via Liverpool Echo):
“The silence of @23_carra [Jamie Carragher] deaf. Watch me kick and see what happens.”
Richarlison was chastised by Carragher for showing off in the Premier League game against Nottingham Forest earlier in the season.
Carragher launched a scathing attack on the Tottenham striker, telling Sky Sports:
“The man’s in the air. You can’t help it. But what’s he doing? He’s just making people mad at that boy, Richarlison. He’s making me mad. What do you think of him?” [Brennan Johnson] to do? Well, you don’t agree with this but … it’s a big game in the Premier League, the passion is getting stronger, the superstars are coming.”
Spurs return to action against Leeds United in a Premier League fixture on Saturday, November 12. This will be the final match before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte says Harry Kane is tired of Nottingham Forest
Harry Kane was taken off in the 59th minute by Antonio Conte as Tottenham lost 2-0 in the League Cup against Nottingham Forest.
When asked if there was an injury problem for the star striker, Conte said (via football.london):
“No, it’s a problem of fatigue. Very, very tired, yesterday we had a light training and at one point he stopped to recover energy. But he’s fine, just tired but normal because harry played every game.you are a player like him it’s hard to decide not to play with him.
“When you have a player like him it is very difficult to decide not to play with him. In this situation, if I wanted to start with another player it was not possible because of Richarlison’s injury, Kulu and Lucas Moura, since the beginning of the season.”
Kane has made 21 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals and making three appearances.
