YouTube has started rolling out the Short for TV section to its global users. The rival of TikTok- a short video app and Instagram Videos has added a feature so that the user can enjoy the videos from the mobile phone to the bigger screen.

The updated YouTube smart TV app allows users to view popular vertical videos in a more immersive experience.

“Coming to a TV near you Shorts! Starting today, viewers can enjoy these light bursts of video (60 seconds or less) on the big screen at home,” the company said in a statement late Monday.

In the rotating design, users will see a modified version of the “maximum” model.

“We simplified the design of the right side rail but look to bring more functionality in future releases. We believe this experience balances the fun and quirkiness of Shorts i in the style of TV,” said the company.

In the coming weeks, this experience will roll out on TV models (2019 and later) and newer game consoles.

You can also use the remote to start or stop the Shorts video from playing by clicking directly on the shorts or using the Play and Pause buttons on the remote control.

YouTube Shorts have reached 30 billion daily views and growing.

YouTube isn’t the first service to bring short-form vertical videos to the TV screen. TikTok has been experimenting with smart TV interfaces for a long time.
