Guwahati: Police on Saturday seized a large quantity of suspected Yaba pills worth Rs 15 crore from the international market from Sonapur area of Guwahati.
The drug was taken from the vehicle after a certain introduction.
Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted the vehicle at the Nazirahat toll gate near Sonapur.

Police searched the car and found 60,000 Yaba pills hidden in the car’s dashboard.
Police arrested one person identified as Mohammad Ajmal Khan. The accused is a resident of Toubal district in Manipur.
