New Delhi: Shraddha Walkar spoke to a friend hours before she was allegedly murdered by her friend Aaftab Poonawala. He wrote an Instagram message to a friend that he would never read.
Walkar was allegedly murdered on May 18 by Poonawala who stabbed him in a fit of rage. An hour before the accident — around 4.35pm — he read, “I have the news”.
The neighbor answered two hours later what was said. But he got no answer. He also called Poonawala and texted him and her about Shraddha’s whereabouts, but there was no response.
He said he ‘found’ his message in September when he wrote if he was okay. But he got worried after he didn’t get an answer.
Months later, one of her friends told her father, Vikas Walkar, that she had not been heard from for several months. Walkar filed a missing persons complaint with the police who approached Aaftab.
Aaftab Poonawala allegedly killed the woman and cut her body into 35 pieces. He will cancel the sessions for a few weeks.
Police are yet to find Shraddha’s head.
Poonawala told a Delhi court yesterday that he killed the woman in a fit of rage. He said he forgot where he dumped the body parts.

She also wrote in the complaint that she does not want to be with him.
