TVS Motor Company recently announced its partnership agreement with Petronas. The latter is now set to be the title partner of TVS Racing, India’s premier racing team. The new campaign resulted in the rebranding of the racing team as the Petronas TVS Racing Team. In addition to this, the racing bikes will offer a new product starting this season. The Hosur-based two-wheeler giant also informed that Petronas will now be responsible for supplying the ‘Petronas Sprinta’ premium engine oil to the racing team.

The revamped racing team will participate in all forms of racing across India such as road racing, grand cross, and sprint formats. Some of the major championships on the team chart include the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), Indian National Supercross Championship (INSC), and the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC).

TVS said it is delighted to partner with Petronas and believes the new partnership will further help strengthen its racing image in India, “We are delighted to have PETRONAS as our TVS Racing partner. TVS Racing started in 1982 and has been instrumental in building the motorsports culture in the country. The company said it believes the new partnership will increase the popularity of racing culture in the country. The company also announced that it has developed a blended oil – PETRONAS TVS TRU4 RacePro, which will be available for purchase in India starting next month.
