While they are all very different, all of the best TV picks are great. If you prefer to stick with the small screen, then the TinyTV 2 on Kickstarter could be a small miracle.
As The Verge reports (opens in a new tab), TinyTV 2 is a new Kickstarter project from the same team that made the Microscopic Game Boy. It’s a one-inch, 216 x 135 pixel TV that works just like the TVs used to in the pre-digital era – but it’s still a digital video player with a handy 8GB of microSD storage.

What does such a small TV need? It’s like climbing Everest: people do it because it’s there, and the challenge is the point. But from a consumer perspective it’s amazing, fun and funny, not least because there’s a smaller 0.6-inch version for anyone who finds the one-inch model too big.
You’re looking at $50 per version, and that includes an app to reduce your video files to the right dimensions. So if you’re looking for a great Christmas gift for a mouse, you know where to go.
