The Android 13 update via One UI 5.0 brings several changes to the Galaxy Tab S8 series, including an updated UI design, per-app language settings for supported apps, improved stock apps, and other accessibility settings. Another notable change is improvements to Samsung DeX, new features in Samsung Gallery, Samsung Internet, Samsung My Files, and other stock apps, as well as customizing or disabling RAM Plus.

Android 13 was released by Google back in August 2022, but it usually takes time for manufacturers to implement the update on their devices, with Samsung having one of the best records for quickly updating to the latest Android OS. Usually, the latest version of Android OS debuts first on Google Pixel devices, but since there are currently no supported Pixel tablets in the market, the Galaxy Tab S8 series is the first to receive the stable version of the OS.
