A young boy, who beat blood cancer, received a surprise welcome from students and teachers when he returned to school. The dramatic moment of his return and the grand reception organized by the school authorities were captured and posted online, and netizens were delighted. Inside, one sees Bernardo walking back to school with his parents. As he entered his school gate, he saw students lined up on both sides of the entrance, clapping and congratulating him. At the end, his teachers welcome him with a warm hug.
“The return of the hero! Cancer-free and back to school!!! In August of 2021, Bernardo was diagnosed with Leukemia and his chemotherapy treatment was long and painful. Last week he celebrated being cancer free and he was happy to have this hero back at school,” read the caption written alongside the video posted on the Instagram by the Best News Posts page.
