Protected Botanical Garden & Nu’uanu Valley Park
“Protected Botanical Garden (below) has many backdrop options and beautiful views of the Ko’olau Mountains, which are full of seasonal flora. The tree also grows well so you don’t have to deal with the sun on top. You can shoot there at any time of the day, don’t worry. One important tip: please do not take photos on any of the park’s roads.

Kāhala beach
“It’s my favorite place for family photos Kāhala beach (top right) near the Kāhala hotel. This is one of the most sunny places in the country. Although it is raining everywhere in the country, it looks sunny there. Beautiful light in the morning and late afternoon from both sides. It’s very photogenic because of all the short palms. Down in Honolulu & Wa’ahila State Park
“I like the Merchant Street area (below) in the city of Honolulu. Most of the buildings there are old and historic and so is the architecture. And the street has a curve to make it easier to see the background.

Kuli’ou’ou Beah Park & Kapi’olani Park
“Kuli’ou’ou Beach Park in Hawai’i Kai is great at low tide, so you can walk out and feel like you’re a long way from the beach. It’s quiet and calm. Kapi’olani Park (below) near the tennis courts on the side of the mountain and the spring, when it rains, is interesting.
