Ajith and Shalini’s romance started when the two were shooting for ‘Amarkalam’ in 1999. At the time, their involvement made her a subject of tabloid gossip. Despite the fact that actor Ramesh Khanna advised Ajith not to marry Shalini, the beautiful couple went ahead and tied the knot in April 2000 in Chennai. The couple was blessed with daughter Anoushka, born on January 3, 2008, and son Aadvik, born on March 2, 2015.
On the professional front, Ajith will be seen in H Vinoth’s thriller titled Thunivu opposite Manju Warrier. The film began production in April 2022 and wrapped principal photography in October. It is scheduled to release in January 2023, during Pongal.
