A SOUTHEND bar has unveiled an “Instagram-worthy” new look after a £90,000 interior makeover.

Now featuring a new bar top, eye-catching back-bar graffiti, new furniture and an electronic neon sign, club bosses say visitors can “capture those moments for Instagram”.

A new trend has been introduced in the women’s toilets: a “party push” that produces a light show and “good” music.

Bosses at the spin-off, which has 69 sites across the UK, hope the changes will boost business, having opened a Southend branch on a former HMV site for £1 million in the year 2017.

Freya Smith, 26, attended the club’s grand opening to launch the new look.

“It’s very slow in there now,” said beautician Leigh.

Echo:

“Me and my friends used to like it a lot, but now it’s even better than before.”

Southend resident Andy Wilkins, 22, said he would check out the beauty spot after it opened.

Echo:

“The new club design looks good so I think I’ll go down there for the first time,” he said.

“It’s always good to see the improvements in Southend’s world on a nightly basis.”

Echo:

Darren Guyon, general manager of Revolution Southend, said: “At Revolution Southend, our aim is always to give our guests the best night out on the town. This renovation project is very exciting because our site has been completely redesigned, taking the best place for a bright night out and making it even more special. We can’t wait to get the party started again and open our doors again.
