New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil India’s G20 Presidency logo, theme and website on Tuesday at 4:30 pm through video conferencing.
India will assume the G20 Presidency on December 1, 2022. The G20 presidency provides a unique opportunity for India to contribute to the global agenda on important issues of international importance, a PMO release said. India’s G20 Presidency logo, theme and website will reflect the country’s message and top priorities to the world.
“Guided by the Prime Minister’s vision, India’s foreign policy has evolved to assume a leadership role on the world stage,” the statement said.
The G20 is the main forum for international economic cooperation representing about 85 percent of global GDP, more than 75 percent of global trade and nearly two-thirds of the world’s population.
During the G20 Presidency, around 200 meetings will be held in 32 different sectors at multiple locations across India.
The G20 summit to be held next year will be one of the most high-profile international gatherings hosted by India. (ANI)
