Barnala, November 16

The authorities’ decision to stop the arrival of paddy at 85 government rural purchase centers in Barnala district from Wednesday has not gone down well with farmers.

The authorities concerned said that they would buy paddy products that had arrived in these 85 centers till Tuesday evening.

“The state government’s decision to stop the arrival of paddy at rural purchase centers in Barnala is wrong as many farmers are yet to harvest their crops.
