Jennifer Lopez’s fans checked her Instagram this morning to find that the page was gone.
It appears the star has deleted or archived all old posts on the platform, in addition to changing her profile picture to a black circle. The “Waiting for Tonight” singer has also been disappointed on other platforms, including Twitter and TikTok, but his previous posts on those accounts remained.
Turning to a blank page for Lopez’s most-followed account—she currently has 226 million followers—is jarring, but it could also represent a big announcement. Some famous people have done such work before appearing in new films or music projects, so multi-links can be important in the works.
Lopez has some highly anticipated film projects for next year, including a romantic comedy Pupu Wedding, is set to premiere on Prime Video in January, and the May Netflix thriller The Mother.
The star has been keeping a low profile since returning to Los Angeles following her two weddings and honeymoon with Ben Affleck this summer. The couple made their red carpet debut as a married couple at the Ralph Lauren spring/summer 2023 runway show in San Marino, California, last month.
Earlier this week, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer jumped on the popular TikTok trend, sharing a cute video of herself cuddling with her husband. In the video, Mr. and Mrs. Affleck when they heard the sound of the image, said, in a cute baby voice, “Boy, I did it. I found the person I’m really happy with.”
