Jennifer Aniston is mourning the death of his father.
The actress took to her Instagram on Monday morning to share a heartfelt tribute to her father, John Anthony Aniston, passed away peacefully on Friday. November 11. He was 89 years old.
In the first photo, Aniston, as a baby, was held by her loving father. Other photos in the carousel include the actress and her father when she was growing up and a solo photo of her father alone.
“Sweet dad… John Anthony Aniston,” she wrote in the caption.

“You are one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. I am so thankful that you went to heaven in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! What a perfect time. you always. That number will always be there. it means more to me now 🕊️I will love you until the end of time💔 Don’t forget to visit 💫🤗❤️” she added .
John Anthony–a former military man–is best known for portraying Victor Kiriakis on the soap opera. Days of Our Lives. In June, the veteran actor received a Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Award for his long career on the soap. Although he was not there to receive the award, his daughter accepted it on his behalf.
“This is a special moment for me,” Aniston said when accepting the award. “This is an opportunity to not only celebrate a true icon in the world of daytime television, but also an opportunity to recognize the lifetime achievements of a legendary actor who happens to be my father. “
“For more than 30 years, his dedication to that show has made him proud of his fellow actors, deep friends and amazed millions of fans around the world,” he added. “His work is the definition of worldly achievement.”
In response to his death, Days of Our Lives also share a funny funny video of his time on the series.
