JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has received ANDA approval from USFDA for Venlafaxine Extended Release Tablets 37.5mg, 75mg, 150mg and 225mg.
By design, this product is based on OROS (Osmotic Controlled Release Oral Delivery System) technology, an advanced and precisely controlled release mechanism.
The generic product approval is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to Osmotica Pharmaceutical US LLC’s 37.5 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg and 225 mg venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release drug (RLD).
According to IQVIA Health MAT data as of October 2022, Venlafaxine Extended-Release Tablets recorded annual sales of approximately $48 million in the US.
In Thursday morning trade, JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals traded at Rs 2,012.65 per share, up 0.04% on the BSE.
