After testing with selected users over the past few weeks, Instagram is rolling out its new in-app post scheduling tools to all professional accounts within the app.

As you can see in this overview, Instagram’s new post scheduling option allows you to schedule photos, carousels and Videos directly in the app, up to 75 days in advance.

You can set up an account by:

  • In the creation flow, type ‘Advanced Settings’ before sharing the post
  • Tap ‘Edit this post’
  • Select the time and date you want to save
  • Click on ‘Program’ in the column composer

As mentioned, Instagram has been testing the option for the past few weeks, with a live test in the middle of next month.
