Twelve South, a leading tech accessories brand, has announced the launch of the second generation version of the HoverBar Duo, available exclusively in the UK. Like the first generation, the updated HoverBar Duo functions primarily as an easy-to-use stand to support the user’s tablet. Basically, the stand-like device allows the user to mount their tablet as a stationary screen.
However, the advertising campaign for the HoverBar Duo focuses on its unique use in the kitchen. The campaign highlights how users can set up their tablets as a means of viewing real-time cooking videos using the stand. A notable new feature of the second-generation HoverBar Duo includes an iPad clip that rotates 60 degrees.
The device “can be placed under the cabinet, allowing users to follow recipes without having to prop the iPad up against the olive oil while cooking,” according to the company’s website.
