THIS derelict entertainment center has been left empty for years – but most of it is still standing.

The Dunluce Center in Portrush, Co Antrim still contains laser tag equipment and a large football pit.

The facility has been abandoned since 2013

The facility was closed in 2013 and has been abandoned ever since.

The passage of time has left the building decayed and dilapidated in places, but many of the once popular children’s entertainment facilities remain intact.

Another TikTok user, Jamie Robinson, shared images of his exploration of the building.

Starting the video, Jamie said: “We heard there might be a way in so we’ll see if we can get in”.

Inside the building, signs still show the various playgrounds, the laser dome, the theater and the Finn McCool playground.

In one of the rooms, small televisions mounted on the wall were smashed.

As Jamie digs deeper he finds a deserted cinema, still about a row of seats.

One of the best kept parts of the entertainment center is the laser dome.

Inside it, all the laser guns and weapons still work, as Jamie showed in the video.

Through another door, Jamie finds a large playground.

While most of the colored plastic balls are now missing, it is clear that a large hole was once filled in the border.

Below the video many people have shared their memories of the Dunluce centre.

‘BIG PLACE’

And some wondered why this popular place was ever closed.

Another person said: “Why was it closed. It was a great place!”

Another said: “You brought back so many memories. I spent my summers as a kid”!

One viewer commented: “I loved this place as a kid.

And another person said: “Every kid in my class at primary school had a birthday party here at some point”.

The Co Antrim center closed in 2013 due to declining visitor numbers, according to the BBC.

In August, firefighters were called to the facility after a suspected arson attack.

The PSNI confirmed damage was done to a play area inside the building and said the fire was started after access was gained through a vent.

Jamie confirms his visit to the facility, which was posted on TikTok in November, took place after the fire.
