Have you ever come across some suggested posts on your Instagram feed, but still need to turn them off? Here’s everything you need to know.
Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, boasting millions of active users every day who share new posts with their followers and interact with a wide range of content on the father.
Much of what users see on the app comes from their home feed, which features content from other creators they follow on the site.
You’ll also see ‘suggested posts,’ in your feed, which are things the app thinks you might want to see based on other content you interact with.
However, many people do not like these proposed posts and want to see posts from people who follow them. But is there a way to turn off tagged ads on Instagram?
Instagram continues to be one of the most popular social media platforms.
Can you turn off targeted ads on Instagram?
There are a few things you can do if you want to see the recommended ads in your Instagram feed.
If the proposed content does not meet your needs, when you come to a classified ad, click the three dots at the top of the column, then click ‘Unwanted’ at pop up menu.
From here, you can choose not to see opinion posts from a user, or you can choose to ‘Sleep all opinion posts in the feed for 30 days.’
For example, you can view a feed of common content from the people you follow by clicking on the Instagram icon in the upper left corner and selecting ‘Follow.’
This makes it easier to consume content from targeted people, and you can avoid targeted ads.
