Clear your Instagram App Cache on iPhone
On the iPhone, only certain apps offer the ability to clear their cache without reinstalling the app. For Instagram, the only way to clear the app’s cache is to uninstall and reinstall it.
Note: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app will require you to re-enter your login details. However, you will not lose the data stored in your Instagram account.
First, find Instagram on your iPhone screen. Then, tap and hold the app. In older versions of iOS, you need to mark the “X” in the corner and type “Delete” in the prompt.
In newer versions of iOS, you need to tap and hold on the app and select “Remove App” from the menu. Then, tap Delete App again in the prompt.
Instagram is unlocked on your iPhone. To download again, just visit the App Store. Finally, you can launch the app and log in to your Instagram account.
