Hikers love to see the history in the cliffs by going down the river and climbing the canyon walls, which can reach a height of over a hundred feet.

Visitors to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore can paddle their canoes through the narrow passages and columns of the sea caves there, or they can hike more than 4.5 miles along the Bayfield Trail. Cascade Waterfalls is located in the heart of Osceola in western Wisconsin. It’s a great welcome from the riverside suspension bridge at the top of the gorge, where there are amazing views of the drop below. The distance the water travels from Osceola Creek to the St. Croix is 108 feet. Look down the wooden stairs hanging over the river, or look up at the flowing water of the river; however, the natural beauty of the Cascade Falls makes it the perfect place for a picture op!
6/10 Anderson’s Eight
This landmark, located in Ephraim, Door County, is known as an “Instagram darling.” In 1858, a pier was built in the deep sea, where the ships were anchored. In the structure, the goods are held for storage. The graffiti created by travelers from all over the world decorates the outside of the structure, a colorful image that is hard to forget. Yes, selfies are everywhere, so go for it!
5/10 Devils Lake State Park
Devils Lake State Park, near Baraboo, Wisconsin, is a favorite among photographers and nature lovers. Wisconsin’s amazing scenery, hiking trails, winding hiking trails, and fishing spots are all the result of generations of evolution, and these changes are reflected in this lake. The lake is surrounded by quartzite cliffs and highlands, some of which are over 500 feet high and developed during the last Ice Age. It would be a shame not to take a photo in front of the amazing red cliffs that overlook the entire park.
4/10 The Holy Mountain Basilica
Holy Hill Basilica is a place that has captured the interest of thousands of people over the centuries as it has recorded history beginning in the 1600s. This impressive landmark, located in southeastern Wisconsin and high on acres of forested land, draws visitors from both evangelical and non-evangelical circles. Due to the very high location of the church, the basilica can be seen from 50 kilometers away.
3/10 Wisconsin State Capitol
The State Capitol of Wisconsin is located in the heart of downtown Madison and is considered one of the state’s most important and valuable assets. In 1904 work began on what is now the Wisconsin State Capitol, which had been destroyed by fire the previous year. This historic structure is home to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Wisconsin Governor’s office, and both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature. Even though the exterior and interior of the house have different aesthetics, both are good photo opportunities.

The Stavkirke Church, built in Door County to represent Scandinavian culture, design, and immigrant influence on the country, can be found there. The church was named after a Viking god. This model mosque, built in the 1980s with an unusual building, attracts more than 5,000 tourists every year. Stavkirke is another incentive to travel around the island when tourists take their cameras with them, whether it’s for weddings, baptisms or just curiosity!

Because “Dells” is a Native American word meaning “dark water,” the town formerly known as Kilbourne City was renamed Wisconsin Dells in the 1930s, and is one of many to visit Wisconsin.
