Here’s how to stay at Yellowstone TV Ranch, just 6 hours from B | Tech Reddy

It’s finally here! Idahoans have been eagerly awaiting the Season 5 premiere of Paramount Network’s hit Yellowstone. Sure, we had the prequel series 1883, but there’s nothing better than seeing Kevin Costner play the hero… or the villain. After four full seasons, I’m still into this guy, even though he’s not great.

We all see some of ourselves in the characters of the drama, whether we want to or not. If you really see yourself as one of the characters of the show, there is no better place for you than the real farm you see on TV. The Yellowstone Dutton Ranch is actually the Chief Joseph Ranch in real life. It is located in Darby, Montana, about a six-hour drive from Boise.

You can visit the Chief Joseph Ranch, the perfect getaway for the big Yellowstone fan. You can stay at the property and feel like a Dutton, but it won’t be the same experience you saw on TV. For example, you cannot live in a dormitory. Instead, you have your choice of Lee’s or Rip’s wardrobe. You will not be invited to dinner. You have to make your own. You can bring your children and your horse, but not your pets. You will not be picked up at the airport by Rip or anyone else. You will have to drive there or rent a car.

The cost of living on a farm is very expensive. You will spend $1200 per night for Lee’s cabin or $1500 for Rip’s. You can have up to four guests to split the cost with you, but there is a three-night minimum stay. So the minimum you will spend on accommodation is $3600 or $900 per guest if you split it four ways. In addition to your stay at the ranch, you will be able to tour the property. Unfortunately, they are no longer accepting bookings for 2022. Reservations for 2023 will be made available once they have a filming schedule. No, there are no visitors during the filming.

Finding a farm to live on can be a challenge. They kept answering their phones, and the voicemail didn’t receive messages when I called. The official website does not allow you to make reservations.

If you’re visiting the property without staying there, you can take a picture at the gate, but that’s as close as you’ll get. So the only way to see where the Duttons call home is to pay to stay.

I was able to connect with other people who lived there, and they were willing to share their photos. See them below.
