The management of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute is happy to announce that the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Mizoram has included Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Langol as a general and referral hospital for the treatment of employees of the Government of Mizoram and its employees with effect from 9 September 2011 vide its order no. A. 17014/10/2010-HFW, date: 9th September 2011, signed by the Secretary of the Govt. of Mizoram, Department of Health and Family Welfare. The order states that the empanelment was done on the recommendation of the Mizoram Government Empanelment Committee.
The recommendation was made to the facilities and department available in the hospital. The hospital was inspected by an expert from the Government of Mizoram from 11 to 13 June 2011.
Shija Hospital is now recognized by Govt. of Nagaland, Govt. of Mizoram, ECHS, CSB, Manipur University, Central Agriculture University, Powergrid, NHPC, CRPF, Airport Authority of India, HUDCO, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and Govt. of Manipur (for neurosurgery treatment only).
