Hyderabad CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd., a real estate consulting firm, flagged off its CSR initiative in Hyderabad with Plan India, which aims to serve construction workers and their families with free health counseling and nutritional support. The project was launched in Greater Noida in early July with Plan India.

We strive to create a positive impact. The ecosystem we operate Kari, and with the CBRE Cares – ‘Ek Pehal’ initiative, we hope to bring about a social change and impact in the lives of the needy.”
It is estimated that crores of workers across the country are employed in the construction sector and this initiative will aim to bring a positive change in their lives. The announcement is part of CBRE CARE – ‘Ek Pehal’, the firm’s corporate philanthropy program in India that pledges its efforts to address the health and nutrition-related concerns of migrant workers and their families in cities across the country. As part of this initiative, CBRE will set up medical camps around construction clusters across Hyderabad throughout the year. The partnership includes free health counselling, nutritional counseling, quality health counseling and support by medical professionals with a focus on personal safety and security awareness sessions on Covid, family planning, menstrual hygiene, and sanitation practices. As part of the engagement, CBRE has partnered with other NGOs including the Wockhardt Foundation and Save the Children to implement CSR initiatives across construction clusters in Greater Noida, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Chennai.
