With the Blackview Tab 15, the manufacturer is launching a new Android tablet that’s worth checking out. Compared to its predecessor, the device relies on a larger 10.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and offers more space for entertainment content with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
It also offers Widevine L1 certification, allowing you to watch copy-protected streaming content in high definition. Smart-K Quad-BOX speakers provide convincing stereo sound in the process.
The Unisonc T610 is used as the SoC, which combines two fast Cortex A75 and six energy-efficient Cortex A55 cores with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz. It has eight gigabytes of working memory and 128 GB of system memory, which can be expanded using a microSD card. However, you will have to do without one of the two SIM card slots.
For added performance, the Tab 15’s RAM also borrows up to 6GB of system memory to handle demanding tasks.
Battery and cameras
The Blackview Tab 15 has an 8,280 mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging. It offers up to 840 hours of standby time, and cards have 7 hours of web browsing or 12 hours of average use.
Nevertheless, the 525-gram light tablet is relatively compact with a depth of 7.3 mm. The manufacturer did not miss the cameras and combines a 13-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor and a front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera (Samsung S5K4H7 sensor).
The operating system is Android 12, including Doke 3.0. The tablet also has a PC mode, which allows it to be combined with a keyboard cover to replace a laptop. External keyboards and mice can also be used with the tablet.
Price and availability
The Blackview Tab 15 Android tablet is said to be available now on AliExpress. However, the corresponding website is not yet online. The price is around 300 USD.
