Even though it’s technically Cyber Monday, Samsung US is offering Black Friday deals. The usual suspects are here – the Galaxy S22 and Z 4 series – but there are some interesting additions to the offerings.
We’ll start with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. It can be as low as $310 with a $150 instant rebate and a maximum $600 enhanced trade credit. You can get at least $150 in credit regardless of the condition of your Galaxy device. If you have nothing to trade in, even an old Galaxy device, you’ll get an extra $50 off.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 can go down to $450 with a quick $350 discount and up to $1,000 in enhanced trade-ins. As above, you’re guaranteed a $300 trade-in credit for any Galaxy device regardless of its terms, but this time Apple phones are included (the oldest iPhones you’ll ship are the iPhone 6s and SE). If you don’t have anything to trade in, you can get $100 off.
Here is an interesting suggestion. You can pick up an old Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 for $600 off straight, or opt for a lower discount of $250 and get a free projector – Samsung’s Freestyle projector, which normally costs $800. The price of the Z Fold3+ projector can be reduced to $1,140 with a $410 trade-in credit (or $315 if you’re sending in a damaged screen).
Time to upgrade your laptop? The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro is down to $750 with $360,500 in rebates and up to $300 in trade-in credit. This is for a model with a 15.6-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, Intel Core i7 (12th generation) and 8/512GB of storage. There are offers on the Book2 360 base as well as the Book2 Pro.
The Galaxy Tab S8 tablet is a portable alternative. The base S8 slate is available for $100 off $300 in instant rebates and up to $450 in enhanced trade-in credit (up to $120 for devices with a damaged screen). The enhanced trade-in cap is up to $500 for the Galaxy Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra.
Finally, the usual suspects. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is apparently Samsung’s #1 best-selling product, with a train ticket starting at $375. That’s with $225 instant rebate and up to $600 in enhanced trade credit (up to $315 if the screen is damaged).
The Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 are also in the $300-$400 range, with $150 instant rebates and up to $500 in enhanced trade-in credit (up to $310 for the light screens), while the vanilla model gets $75 and up for the Plus model. $400 upgrade trade-in (up to $235 for light screens).
If the S22 series is still expensive, the Galaxy S21 FE could go down to $250 with a $100 discount and an improved trade-in credit of up to $350 ($255 if the old honey screen is broken).
We finish it off with some accessories. The Galaxy Buds2 Pro are $30 off, and you can send in any old Galaxy Buds for another $75 off – that includes broken buds, so there’s nothing left to do but recycle them.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro are also heavily discounted – the Watch5 40mm can be down to $65 off if you stack up to $50 off and use an enhanced $165 trade-in credit. Samsung is also throwing in a second bracelet for free. Instead of the vanilla versions, you can also get Golf versions of these watches that come with a free lifetime membership to the Smart Caddy app ($100).
PS. If you haven’t seen it before, the improved trade-in deals mean you can send in an old tablet or an old smartwatch (or an old laptop for the Galaxy Book2 360) rather than just an old phone. And you can send a total of two devices to get more credit.
