Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) flagged off the “8 Wonder Exploration” drive with the iconic IONIQ 5 EV.
The drive was flagged off from HMIL’s corporate headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana. As the name suggests this is a drive that will cover the wonders of India. So, there are only seven wonders in India, why is it called the “8 Wonder Exploration” drive? Well, once the IONIQ 5 completes the drive in record time, Hyundai will mark the IONIQ 5 as the 8th Wonder.

- Konark Sun Temple (Odisha)

record attempt
This is not only a journey to explore the Seven Wonders in an EV, but also a record attempt. HMIL will apply to the India Book of Records to make this journey the “Fastest EV Drive Covering the 7 Wonders of India”. It will be the first electric car to achieve this feat.
