GURUGRAM: A 30-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his nephew and accomplices over an old feud involving a dog.

Arjan’s brother Bhim Singh filed a complaint with the police. He said that after returning home on Thursday night, Suranjan and others beat Arjan with sticks. “They ran away from the spot when I raised the alarm. I suspect he killed my brother over an old enmity over a fight over a dog,” he said.
Singh told the police that Arjan was rushed to Sohnar Civil Hospital, but doctors referred him to a private facility in Gurugram. He was injured on the way. “After receiving the complaint, we formed three teams to nab the accused. But no one has been arrested so far. The complainant suspects that the accused killed Arjan due to old enmity. The complainant, however, is unaware of any details. The teams are probing the case to find out the motive behind the murder,” said Sohna Sadar SHO Jai Singh.
He said the prime accused Suranjan is a history teacher and has been named in 16 cases of attempted murder, robbery, robbery and carrying illegal arms in the past.
“Three teams of police are conducting raids at different locations. The police got some important clues about their whereabouts. We will follow them,” he added.
