Hosur – TVS Motor Company registered a growth of 2% with sales increasing from 355,033 units in October 2021 to 360,288 units in October 2022.
Two wheels
Total registered two-wheeler sales of 344,630 units in October 2022 about 341,513 sales in October 2021. Registered two-wheeler domestic sales grew 7% from 258,777 units October 2021 to 275,934 units in October 2022.
Registered motorcycle sales of 164,568 units versus sales of 172,361 units October 2021. Scooter registered 20% growth with sales rising from 113,124 units October 2021 that 135,190 units in October 2022.
The market sentiment for all our products has been very positive. We are hopeful that the demand in the domestic two-wheeler market will continue.
Electric Vehicle
TVS Qube Electric continues to receive great response from customers, showing strong growth of 8,103 units October 2022 against sales of 395 units in October 2021.
International Business
The Company’s total sales registered at 82,816 units October 2022 against sales of 95,191 units in October 2021. Two-wheeler sales registered 68,696 units in October 2022 about 82,736 units October 2021.
In other international markets, there has been a slowdown due to macroeconomic conditions. These are mainly two-wheeler markets and hence we moderate shipments to these countries. However, we have seen improved sales in these markets in October which will support improved deliveries in the coming months.
Three wheels
The Company’s three wheelers grew by 16% registering sales of 15,658 units in October 2022 about 13,520 units October 2021.
