We’re big fans of the TCL 6-Series (9/10, WIRED Recommends), which ranks as our best TV for many people across many generations. At this price, it’s an excellent buy for a 65-inch screen, with mini-LED backlighting and plenty of bright, vibrant colors. This deal is also available at Best Buy. If you want the best eye for a round game, then you can trade this up and save money. This 48-inch OLED has perfect black levels, a fast refresh rate, and a smart interface built in when you’re not gaming. Fortnite in 4k. This deal is also available on Newegg, and the retailer is throwing in a free $100 Visa gift card and a four-year protection plan.
This Samsung TV (8/10, WIRED recommends) excels in living rooms that get a lot of sunlight (or just plain bright). It is because the TV itself receives indeed it’s bright, so you won’t have too many issues with the light. It’s easy to set up, has all the apps you’ll need out of the box, and integrates well with Samsung phones for some extra features. It also has a 120-Hz refresh rate for gaming.

There is a new model available, which may explain why these speakers are now discounted. That doesn’t stop the LSX from being a fantastic pair of hi-fi speakers. They’ll fill your room with high-fidelity music, and you can connect to them via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet.
Everyone can use a good Bluetooth speaker, and Sony makes some of our favorites. This one comes with 16 hours of battery life, and an IP67 water- and dust-resistance rating means you can take it to the beach or pool without fear.
Clear technology makes for some of the best premium speaker systems, and even though this model has five speakers from 2019, it still cuts the edge of sound. You get four surrounds, a center channel, and a deep bass subwoofer—everything you need for a full theater experience in one package, minus the receiver.
Apple and Home Office deals
The M1 is a powerful chip for many laptop users, allowing you to easily edit pictures or music between trips to class or the office. This is a couple of hundred dollars off its regular list price, because it has slightly older specs. It’s more than just knowing and it will serve you well for many years to come.
Last year’s 14-inch MacBook Pro (8/10, WIRED recommends) offers a better screen than the 2020 Macbook Pro above, and has double the RAM. The M1 Pro chip inside has a lot more power. The Liquid Retina XDR display means movies and games will look great, and the new speakers on this model really pop when listening without headphones.
This streaming device (8/10, WIRED recommends) is the best way for iPhone owners to easily stream their favorite movies and shows to their TVs, not to mention access any number of high-definition streaming apps. I like how simple the interface is, and the voice search is easy to use and decent on board. The deal has been running since early August.
I love my iPad Air (8/10, WIRED recommends). It’s powerful enough to use music-making apps on the go, and I sometimes use it to jot down some of these notes in Google Docs when I’m offline and struck by inspiration. This deal is in the 256-GB model, so it’s only good if you want to have a lot of built-in storage.
We love the Blue microphones for their great design and great performance during calls and podcasts. This one comes in blue, and it’s the Nano version, so it’s easy to hide or bring with you when you’re not recording. This deal is also available at B&H.
The Nest Hub (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is something I’ve found very useful in my office, where I use it to remind me of meetings. It’s great for setting timers and checking the weather, which makes it great for kitchens and bedrooms. Plus, you can ask Google Assistant about anything, like whether your dog can eat something with onions in it. (The answer is no!)
