Although she is a member of the second season of Love Is Blind, the wedding day of Deepti Vempati and Shake Chatterjee is a topic of discussion for the new season of the Netflix series in 2022. Deepti and Shake’s relationship played on screen in 2021 but now it’s their big time. The sun has risen again as fans compare it to another couple’s journey in season three.
Cole Barnett and Zanab Jaffrey met on the sets of Love Is Blind and became emotionally attached. The Dallas couple went through a lot of ups and downs during the Netflix audition but ultimately it didn’t work out when it came to working on their wedding day.
What happened between Zanab and Cole?
After hooking up on the boats, Zanab and Cole joined Love Is Blind season 3. The pair discovered what it’s like in ‘real life’ while living together in a apartment, going on honeymoon, meeting friends and family.
Zanab and Cole, like many couples on the show, had some problems to overcome in their relationship. Zanab was seen several times asking Cole to pick up his towels from the floor, with Cole telling him to “calm down.”
However, Cole said at the Netflix show’s event that he thought Zanab was “soft” in the show, while being portrayed as “dark”.
As they walked down the aisle, Cole was waiting for Zanab to say “I do” but she didn’t want to go to the wedding and explained her reasons at the altar in front of the guest
Deepti and Shake’s wedding day
Love Is Blind fans caught on Twitter following the episode showing Zanab and Cole’s wedding day. There are many made a comparison between Zanab’s ‘story’ and Deepti’s wedding day from season 2.
Deepti tells Shake on their wedding day in the second episode: “I hope you know how much you mean to me and the impact you’ve made on my life but, no, no I can marry you. I deserve someone who knows for sure so I’m choosing myself and I say no.
Zanab talks ‘Deep marriage’ news
In Season 3, on her wedding day, Zanab says that Cole “disrespected” her and “wasted” her when they were together. He says that he “loves” her, but he adds: “I can’t marry you, ‘No.'”
Taking to Instagram on November 10, 2022, Zanab commented on the comparisons made by fans to her and Deepti’s wedding dates.
He wrote: “I regret that Deepti’s wedding was a week before mine, long before you or I knew what she was saying.”
Her post included a video of her and Cole and concluded: “One thing about me, I choose my words carefully and I stand by everything I say.”
