The Q80B series from Samsung, as we said, was announced earlier this year. It’s a 4K QLED TV, with Xbox Game Pass and Alexa built-in. So it’s a great option for existing players. There is HDMI 2.1 on board here, which means there is support for 4K @ 120Hz playback. Really good to see on TV in 2022.
When it comes to picture quality here, it’s a QLED TV, so you’ll get true-to-life colors, and deep blacks. Thanks for having so many backlights. In just the second place, as the LED will have. HDR is on board here, with HLG and HDR10 available.
Samsung hasn’t skipped a beat here either, with Dolby Atmos and OTS available on the Q80B. Giving you a really good sound experience. What this means is that you don’t need to buy a sound bar for this TV, but if you already have one, go ahead and use it. As surprising as it is going to sound.
Internally, it runs on Tizen, which has support for most of your favorite programs here. That includes Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and much more. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Bixby are also included in this TV.
