With the launch of Whatsapp, WhatsApp Business has started testing new incentives asking users to link their Facebook and Instagram accounts to get more users. Meta’s instant messaging application Whatsapp is testing beta testers of WhatsApp Business to bring in new customers through the availability of a special flag. For starters, the flag is rolling out to a handful of beta testers on Android, and the flag is expected to launch to iOS testers in the coming weeks.

According to the report shared by the WABetaInfo, the new flag is discussing with WhatsApp Business users to connect their Instagram accounts and Facebook has started thinking about the new beta version of the messaging application for Android phones.

Effectively, banners bring in new customers by advertising their business on the two platforms mentioned above.

The transition banner can also help, because Meta is planning to expand the use of ads on Instagram and Facebook to guide users to WhatsApp Businesses.

Earlier in October, Meta analyzed gross advertising revenue of Rs 16,189 crore in India for FY22. This has been marked as an impressive 74% year-on-year (YoY) growth, according to the company’s filings with the Register of Companies (RoC).

Last week WhatsApp launched the ability to support 1,024 members on its group chat support. The launch will facilitate group video calls of up to 32 members. The company is expected to launch its much-awaited Community feature.

In May, the platform was found to be working on an official reply token that users would check when receiving a reply to their official update. However, Meta still needs to enter the site for the release of this feature, which is still in the development stage.
