WhatsApp now allows beta users to link their accounts to a second phone and Android tablet. WhatsApp Latest Beta for Android – version 2.22.24.18 brings companion mode that allows you to link an additional phone to your primary account. WhatsApp lets you link up to four Android phones to your primary account, and you’ll have access to all the usual WhatsApp features and message encryption.

Companion mode is enabled by going to the options menu on the registration screen and selecting “Link Device” from the drop-down menu. The feature is currently only available to some beta users, and the wider rollout will take more time.

The latest WhatsApp beta version for Android also brings the ability to connect an Android tablet. This feature is currently only available to some beta testers and is found in the connected devices beta option in the devices section of the settings menu. The pairing process is simple and is done by scanning a QR code.
