TVS posted 2,83,878 units of sales in the month of September 2022 against 2,44,084 units with a YoY growth of 16.3 percent
TVS Motor Company recorded domestic sales of 2,83,878 units in the month of September 2022 as compared to 2,44,084 units in the same period last year with a YoY volume increase of 16.3 percent. The domestic two-wheeler manufacturer finished third in the overall sales charts with a market share of 16.36 percent.
This compared to the corresponding period in 2021, TVS gained a market share of 0.49 percent. The Jupiter scooter range received a total of 82,394 units against 56,339 units in the same period in 2021 with a positive YoY growth of 46 percent. The XL100 finished in second place with 47,613 units sold.
Compared to the corresponding period twelve months ago with 61,664 units, a YoY volume decrease of 23 percent was noted. The TVS Apache series was the third best-selling TVS two-wheeler in the country as 42,954 units were registered against 40,661 units in September 2021 with a YoY volume increase of 6 percent.

TVS Ntorq 125 was placed fourth with 31,497 units total against 29,452 units with a YoY growth of 7 percent. The Raider 125 has been well received among customers and last month, the sports rider shipped a total of 21,766 units against 7,057 units in September 2021 with a YoY growth of 208 percent.
TVS Radeon shipped 14,726 units against 13,296 units with a YoY growth of 11 percent while Sports managed 14,057 units last month against 14,650 units with a YoY decline of 4 percent. Pep + finished in eighth place with 9,518 units against 7,259 units in September 2021 and a YoY volume increase of 31 percent.
The Star City finished in ninth place ahead of the Zest, the Qube and the flagship Apache RR310. Zest finished tenth with 5,913 units against 3,837 units with a YoY growth of 54 percent. The iQube endured the highest YoY growth as 4,923 units were recorded against 766 units and an increase of 543 percent.
