TVS Motor Company has announced that it will launch an all-new motorcycle today (September 8). Apart from the launch information, the company remains tight-lipped about other details of the upcoming bike. The new announcement may be about a specific type of existing motorcycle, and not an entirely new model.
TVS Motor Company currently sells a range of bikes under the Apache series such as Apache RR310, Apache RTR200 and Apache RTR160, etc. Undoubtedly, TVS has been effective with its ‘TVS Racing’ arm which was established back in 1983. The company also earlier launched the Apache RTR310 BTO which is a racing extension of its regular bike.

TVS Motor had earlier also announced its partnership with Petronas as its racing partner. As part of the pre-event, the company also released new racing liveries for its One Make Championships bikes – Apache RR310 and Apache RTR 200.

In fact, the company is rumored to be working on a version of the Apache RR310 motorcycle. However, chances are slim that today’s launch will be about this bike. However, if it does come, it will be a twin version of the BMW G310R which has been fairly popular in the segment lately. More details will be announced tomorrow (8th September).

Meanwhile, the company recently announced a 15% growth in sales Year-on-Year last month with 333,787 units sold compared to 290, 694 units sold in the corresponding period last year.
