Vampire Academy season 1 took fans on one exciting journey. It’s full of cute moments from Dimitri and Rose kissing to Mikhail turning into a Strigoi.

1. Vampire Academy Season 1 Highlights: Danger

The first high moment occurs in time Vampire Academy season 1 episode 1. It is, of course, an accident that changes everything for Lissa and Rose.

This moment starts the story and sets the events of the plot in motion. Without this accident, Lissa and Rose would have had a completely different experience.

Both main characters were protected by the protection of Lissa’s parents. Their loss, and the loss of Andre, changes everything for the characters, emotionally and externally.

The loss of Lissa’s parents and the loss of Andre assumed Lissa stepped up as the last member of Dragomir’s family. And Rose, who is his best friend and Guardian, has to go up with him.

Before this moment, the Queen calls Rose to ask about Lissa. This conversation may lead to the Queen making this decision, showing how Lissa and Rose’s futures are intertwined.

During this conversation, Rose praises Lissa’s kindness and compassion, which are qualities that a ruler should possess.

3. Vampire Academy Season 1 Highlights: The Strigoi Attack on St. Jude’s

This peak moment occurs at Vampire Academy season 1 episode 3. This moment changes everything, not just for Rose and Lissa but for the Moroi and Dhampirs.

As a result of this attack, many Dhampir Guardians were lost. That made everyone around her, including Rose, more valuable to the Moroi.

Without Spirit, he would not have chosen one of the four things during his Mastery Ceremony. Without the Spirit, Christian would not feel the need to separate from Death Watch to protect him.

Lissa’s knowledge of the Spirit’s presence leads her to want to find out more about her mysterious powers, which is the continuation of her quest. Vampire Academy period 1.

5. Vampire Academy Season 1 Highlights: Mikhail is transformed into a Strigoi, and Rose kills Strigoi Mikhail.

This high moment takes place during the Vampire Academy 1 episode 5. Rose and other novices are meant to fight with one Strigoi, and Mikhail will challenge them.

However, Mikhail returns to the Bravo Team camp to find his Guardians killed by the Strigoi. The Strigoi turns Mikhail into a Strigoi too.

This moment causes a chain reaction that goes on. For example, Rose is upset about Mikhail’s death, especially since she doesn’t want to kill her friend and Guardian.

This leads him to search for Mikhail’s family, including his sister Sasha. Dimitri covers Rose, who tells Sasha to run away from the other Guardians.

In the latest episode, Dimitri is arrested for treason and imprisoned, awaiting sentencing by the Queen of the Empire. Sonya is also saddened by the loss of Mikhail, leading her to heal her father, Victor, not wanting to lose another man she loves.

He heals Victor several times, and eventually, the darkness of Spirit becomes too much. He turns Strigoi himself.

6. Vampire Academy Season 1 Highlights: Lissa meets Adrian Ivashkov

This high moment happens in time Vampire Academy season 1 episode 6. In his quest to understand his Spirit abilities, Lissa heads to Lisbon to meet the owner of the painting St. Vladimir that he saw at home.

That owner is Adrian Ivashkov. He shows her his private collection, where he sees other Spirit abilities, including dreaming.

Then Adrian appears in his dreams. Lissa asks if she is a Spirit user as well.

You confirm that you are. Adrian is the one who encourages Lissa to find a writer, who was considered a heretic by the church of Moroi.

He is also the first Spirit user Lissa meets after learning about his abilities. Lissa is the only Spirit user who knows that she is a Spirit user.

He discovers this quickly because he finds out about Sonya’s abilities after the latter has already turned into a Strigoi.

7. Vampire Academy Season 1 Highlights: Rose and Dimitri lie

This high moment happens in time Vampire Academy season 1 episode 6. At the end of the episode, they kiss after Dimitri gives Rose his Molnija sign.

This is the beginning of their relationship and the end of tons of tension between the two characters. It is satisfying to the audience, who may have supported such an outcome.

However, it is bittersweet for the characters in the end. This moment leads to others.

This leads to Rose and Dimitri sneaking around, the two growing closer while accompanying Lissa and Adrian to the fake writer, and eventually them breaking up because Dimitri doesn’t want to come between Rose and his work as a Keeper. It also leads to Rose being worried about Lissa.

Her relationship with Dimitri ended because she did not want to come between their friendship. However, when Lissa tells Rose that she doesn’t want her as a Protector, she is understandably upset.

Rose has given up a lot, including Dimitri, to be Lissa’s Guardian. She also fights Dimitri during episode 8, partly because she cares about him a lot and wants him to listen to what she has to say.

Even in the latest episode, Rose’s relationship with Dimitri plays a role as she visits him.

8. Vampire Academy Season 1 Highlights: Lissa learns the truth about St. Vladimir and he and Rose’s bond

This high moment happens in time Vampire Academy season 1 episode 7. When Lissa and Adrian visit the author of the illusion, they find out that Vladimir passed some of the darkness of the Spirit to Ana through their bond.

As Lissa leaves, the author tells her about how Vladimir and Anna were created and the meaning of the words shadow-kissing. Vladimir’s greatest sin was bringing Ana back to life with his Spirit ability.

That created a bond between them. It’s the same situation for Lissa and Rose.

After the accident, when Rose died saving her best friend, Lissa brought her back. This creates a bond between them that makes Rose kiss the shadow as she dies and comes back.

This moment of learning the truth about St. Vladimir is important to Lissa and Rose. Lissa feels that St. Vladimir is just another Moroi and he doesn’t want to be with Rose.

As a result, he decides that he will not have Rose as his Guardian. This is understandably frustrating for Rose.

However, it makes sense that Lissa made this choice anyway, given what she found out. Lissa doesn’t want to hurt her best friend; therefore, she decides to avoid him.

This leads to the two friends being at odds for a while, though they eventually make up. Lissa is getting closer to fully understanding the mysteries of her Spiritual abilities.

9. Vampire Academy Season 1 Top moments: Lissa is announced as the Queen’s successor for the second time.

This last moment comes in time Vampire Academy season 1 episode 9. Lissa goes to the current Queen of the Moroi and tells her she has a request.

The Queen is then seen announcing Lissa as heir to the throne. The current Queen will remain as ruler until Lissa is ready to take over the role.

This is not only an important moment for Lissa but also leads to consequences for episode 9 itself. These effects will certainly continue to be felt in the final game of the season Vampire Academy period 1.

One such result is that Tatiana abandons the wards at St. Tatiana will say she is innocent, but hopefully, Lissa or one of the characters will find out the truth.

There is a definite possibility, especially since Andre is likely alive, held by Tatiana, that Lissa herself can find out and expose Tatiana. Even so, Vampire Academy fans will have to wait for the finale to know for sure.
