The Wiggles take over Rolling Stone’s Instagram for the ARIA Awards | Tech Reddy

The Wiggles have taken over Crazy Stone‘s Instagram to celebrate ARIA Awards Day.

The 2022 ARIA Awards take place tonight at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, and The Wiggles are in with a chance of winning both categories.

They’ve prepared – you guessed it – Best Children’s Album for their massive double album Rewiggledsaw Aussie artists as diverse as San Cisco, The Chats, Spacey Jane, and DZ Deathrays reinterpret classic Wiggles songs.

The beloved children’s group are nominated for Best Australian Live Act, but face strong competition from Amy Shark, Amyl and the Sniffers, Midnight Oil, and Genesis Owusu. This public-voted award, however, could turn things in The Wiggles’ favor.

2022 is the year of The Wiggles Renaissance. A debut album and an acclaimed national tour brought the band their best year since their 90s.

2022 also saw The Wiggles grace the hallowed cover of Rolling Stone Australia/New Zealand for the first time, and Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins is the youngest person to appear on the cover of the local music and pop culture masthead.

That’s why it’s good to have a young Wiggle Crazy Stone‘s Instagram ahead of the ARIA Awards. The Instagram takeover started this evening, with Tsehay joined by OG Wiggle, Anthony Field, as they rehearse for the big night ahead.

This is only Tsehay’s second ARIA and she is excited about the prospect. “I’m rocking, can’t wait, we’ll see you all at the ARIAs,” she said in an Instagram post.

You can catch all the action Tsehay and the rest of The Wiggles enjoyed at the ARIA Awards by visiting Rolling Stone’s Instagram throughout the day.
