BERLIN: Signature’s messaging application allows users to post messages with pictures, videos and text like on Instagram and other social media platforms.
Visible for 24 hours, the so-called comments can be posted using both the iOS and Android versions of the app (from version 6.0), while desktop update to Signature.
As with Signature messages, all Message data is encrypted. However with Stories, your pictures, videos and texts will disappear automatically after 24 hours.
You can also decide who can see your message in the app’s settings. Here you can choose between all contacts on the Sign and specific groups. It is also possible to set the information to be hidden from certain people.
Stories make it easier to share information with predefined subgroups of people, such as coworkers and classmates.
You can also send comments to existing group chats, which means that every member of the group can see the conversation, even if it’s not a direct contact.
If you do not want to share information or see information from others, you can disable the communication function under “Settings – Information – Turn off information”. – dpa
