Roku and TCL Electronics have announced that TCL Roku TV models will be coming to Australia. Available from November, Australian customers can buy a 4K UHD TCL Roku TV model in a 55- or 65-inch screen.

Roku TV models in Australia include Freeview support, giving customers access to terrestrial TV (DVB-T) free-to-air channels such as ABC, SBS, 7, 9, and 10.

“Roku TV models provide a great experience, whether you’re a live TV enthusiast or an avid broadcaster. They combine a great selection of entertainment with unparalleled convenience at a very affordable price,” said Arthur van Rest, VP, International at Roku. “TCL was one of the first TV manufacturers to adopt Roku TV, and we are pleased to expand our global partnership with the launch in Australia. “

With TCL Roku TV, Australian customers can access the Roku Channel Store, which offers thousands of free and paid streaming channels. At launch, the Australian channel store includes popular global streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, BritBox and Prime Video, along with local subscription service Stan and broadcasters 9Now and 7plus, with more services expected to follow soon.
