GURUGRAM: To test the effectiveness of digital tools in the teaching-learning process and promote better use of tablets distributed to teachers and students under the e-Adhigam scheme, State Council Educational Research and Training (SCERT) decided to conduct an action research survey throughout November.
“The Education Department has launched several projects to improve learning outcomes. The results of several surveys have revealed that our students are faring better than other states like Delhi. However, some aspects need improvement. Moving towards digitization of education is a step in that direction. To ensure that we are moving in the right direction, routine monitoring and evaluation is essential,” said the SCERT Director Vivek Kalia. The extensive research will be conducted in more than 100 government schools in the city. Under this programme, orientation of all head teachers, teachers and ABRC/BRPs is done. A digital fair is also being organized in all these schools to make students, teachers and parents aware about mobile learning.
