Sonia Booth accused her husband and football coach, Matthew Booth, of having an affair on February 14, 2022.
Sonia shared the news about her boyfriend in a row of Instagram announcements were distributed on Monday.
“This is where it starts: 14 February 2022,” he wrote alongside a video featuring Matthew and two other sports commentators and added, “Every day is Valentine’s Day in the Booth house”.
According to Sonia, Matthew picked up a woman that morning from her house.
The second poster shows two bottles of cologne – a bottle of Gucci Guilty and Bvlgari Man in Black. The caption: “They spent the night in Polokwane and the next day he sent her home.”
The next post will jump to July 10th and feature three tour announcements. In the caption, Sonia says Matthew bought her flowers, picked her up from her house and took her to Fishmonger for lunch, according to bank receipts.
On August 4, Sonia said that Matthew picked up the woman in his car and went to Empangeni, where they reportedly spent three nights.
The fifth post shows the party scheduled for Friday, November 4, which is their son Nate’s birthday.
In the caption, Sonia said: “It was changed after I posted it [the woman] a word of advice if @matthewboothza misses our son’s birthday party, I will do what I do now…social media. Broke my ‘promise’ after meeting her husband this morning… [sic].”
Sonia told a story where she said the woman had remarried, she contacted the man, met him and got his blessing to share the evidence she had gathered.
Sonia continued with her posts, talking about the cheesecake that Matthew baked on Thursday, November 3rd. Sonia cooks on Thursday night, Sonia talks about how happy she and her family are, thinking about their son’s birthday; however, the next morning the cake was gone.
When meeting the woman’s husband, Sonia said she asked for the Tupperware the cake was holding in the back and returned it to her. He then placed it on the floor in the garage where Matthew parked his car.
Sonia posted several photos of the woman and Matthew looking happy at different times and hinted that the woman had worked together in the past.
He ended his presentation by saying that people were giving him anxiety and sending people to his home to check on him.
