After just a few weeks of testing, the popular news platform Signal is rolling out the “Stories” feature to all its users on Android and iOS. In an official announcement, Signal also announced that it plans to release the news feature on its desktop platform soon. It looks similar to what you’ve seen on other platforms, such as Instagram, in the Comments section.

Bookmarked Stories allow users to create and share photos, videos, or text on their stories, which will disappear after 24 hours. Bookmarking is the nature of the stories. , like all other features in the app, is end-to-end encrypted. Also, Mark users can decide who can view their information and who can’t.

This can be done by navigating to the app’s Settings menu. You’ll have three options: everyone, someone you’ve chatted with, and someone whose message request has been accepted. Symbol also provides a setting where you can manually hide your profile from specific people.
