School holidays in Haryana tomorrow? Will schools in Gurgaon, Faridabad remain closed tomorrow, here’s what we know

School holidays in Haryana have not been officially announced till now. However, some private schools have shifted classes to online mode due to spiking air pollution. Schools in Haryana were closed on November 5 due to the CET exam but further closures are yet to be confirmed. Students and parents are advised to contact respective schools regarding updates.
Schools in Delhi and Noida have been declared closed and classes are conducted in online mode. The Haryana government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has not announced any update so far.
Delhi schools remain closed for primary classes until air quality improves. GRAP 4 has recently been implemented in the national capital as AQI levels have increased.
Noida Schools and Greater Noida Schools will remain closed till November 8, 2022 due to rise in air quality index. As per the order issued by the Gautam Buddha Nagar management, all schools have been asked to switch to online classes from class 1 to 8.
Haryana is among the top 10 most polluted cities in India and the air quality is recorded as ‘severe’ or ‘poor’ as the Air Quality Index (AQI) is above 400 in most areas. Instead, the state government is expected to announce the online mode of classes. Students and parents are advised to keep track of official orders.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”. .
