SEOUL, November 17 (Korea Bizwire)Samsung Electronics Co. said on Wednesday that its 2022 Smart TVs have been certified by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) in Britain for the second time for their web accessibility for visually impaired people.

Samsung’s Smart TV uses a voice system to provide assistance using the remote control and other accessibility features, providing key information about each TV program.

The volume and pitch of the voice can be adjusted to meet the user’s preferences.

The “high contrast” feature turns graphic data into white characters against a dark background to increase visibility while reducing eyestrain.

The TV automatically adjusts the opacity of the TV menu screen to ensure text clarity.

For people who are color blind, the television screen can be set to black and white.
