Romeo Beckham is also following in the footsteps of his famous father, David Beckham. In 2021, the 20-year-old joined the Major League Soccer club Inter Miami II, which was created by his football team. Now, the rising star is headed to Amsterdam for a job with Inter Miami, and his little sister Harper Beckham, 11, has given him a good offer.
The athlete shared a note from his brother that he wrote on his Instagram Stories, while Harper wrote that he was “proud” of his brother. “I hope you have a lot of fun in Holland, I’ll miss you,” he said. “I’m very proud of you and your football, well done.”
The teenager, who also drew red hearts on the paper, said she was “happy and thankful” that Romeo was her brother. Harper continued: “I am the luckiest person. I love you with all my heart. Love = best child (AKA = Harper).”
Romeo’s trip to Amsterdam comes shortly after the football player got back together with his ex-girlfriend, model Mia Regan. The couple began dating in 2019 and were believed to have split in July 2022, shortly after their third anniversary.
Meanwhile, Romeo’s father, David, has come under fire for his role as Qatar’s World Cup ambassador. On November 13, comedian Joe Lycett urged David to quit his position, promising to donate £10,000 to LGBTQ+ charities if the former British star agreed to so. However, David did not respond and Lycett then put £10,000 worth of – counterfeit – money into the cash register.
